Romantic Impressionist and renowned artist, Ah Yuan, was born on July 4th, 1963 in Qingdao, Shangong Province, China. Ah Yuan was first introduced to the world of painting by his father and his older brother at the age of five. A his interest in painting grew, he studied under the master artist Su Boqun. The artist later graduated from Qingdao Educational College in the Shandong Province with a degree in the Fine Arts. He later earned an advanced degree in art from the China Central Fine Arts University.

Ah Yuan's background and international training has allowed him to create his own artistic style. His work is accented with vibrant color and light, and endowed with the spirit, magnetism and humanity of the artist himself. His paintings capture the vigor and power of life. In the span of thirty years he has received numerous international awards and recognitions, in addition to being noted in the Who's Who of Worldwide Talented Artists. He is also an official artist for the 2008 Olympics in Bejing.
